**Role Description/Criteria**

Applications are sought for the casual position of Instrumental Music Teacher - Drums/Percussion at Padua College Rosebud Campus. Currently position: 0.1 with potential for growth.

The successful applicant will tutor Drums and Percussion students in Years 7-9 and direct percussion ensemble or rock band rehearsal. This position is based at our Rosebud Campus and may will extend to the Mornington Campus as need arises.

The role of the Instrumental Music Staff is to work with the Director of Music to provide:

- Instruction to instrumental students Years 7 to 9;
- Ensemble direction;
- Assistance in ensemble management;
- Attendance at music concerts (as outlined by the Director of Music);
- Maximisation of students' participation in the co-curricular and curricular aspects of the Music Department;
- Promotion of the musical life and culture of the College;
- Support to the Director of Music in ensuring that appropriate reporting and lesson content is provided for students;
- Other duties as described from time to time by the Deputy Principals - Heads of Campus
