Day-today:

  • Prepares materials for experimentation and mixing chemicals
  • Collects information and samples

  • Performs routine mathematical calculation and computations of measurement

  • Controls the quality and quantity of laboratory supplies by testing samples and monitoring usage

  • Checks, calibrates and maintains test equipment
  • Participates in fabricating, installing and modifying equipment to ensure that critical standards are met
  • Managed the preparation of dyes and chemicals for various textile materials, including polyester, nylon and polypropylene
  • Conducted key tests (PH, temperature, color, strength) on dye baths and fabric samples, including high-temperature

  • Collects samples and performed color matching and shade using visual and data based methods

  • Performed and evaluated color fastness tests (washing, light, rubbing) in line with quality standards
