About the role

As Portfolio Leasing Manager, you'll lead the strategic management of TAFE NSW's property leasing portfolio, overseeing leases, licences, agreements, and related systems to maximise asset value and performance. You bring a strong technical foundation and hands-on leadership experience, enabling you to build high-performing teams and foster a culture where people feel empowered to excel.

This role demands a deep understanding of legislative, governance, and commercial frameworks to ensure leasing activities are compliant and aligned with organisational goals. With a customer-first mindset and a sharp strategic lens, you'll drive both commercial and community-focused outcomes, while providing expert advice that supports senior executives and long-term success.

There may be occasional travel as a part of this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in property, valuation, land economics or related discipline or equivalent significant experience managing leasing and portfolio management of diverse property portfolio.
  • Demonstrated application of thorough understanding of commercial leasing practices, legislation, procedures, and leasing and data management.
  • Demonstrated experience applying strong knowledge of legal processes around land management and dealings including those relating to land owned by Government.
