The Sales Representative is a critical role responsible for the sales of waste management solutions across Sydney Metro and has the responsibility to manage an allocated region driving profitable sales growth through on the ground canvassing. You'll be working with a diverse range of customers and industries, so the potential to grow your portfolio is endless
Role & Responsibilities:
- Role reports to the Bingo Industries Commercial and Industrial Sales Manager.
- Your typical day will be spent face to face cold calling, in areas focused across concentrated commercial and industrial hubs or otherwise specified by the business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial market through predominately canvassing (door to door sales)
- Grow the commercial business through value selling Bingo services.
- Performance based role. Key Performance Criteria's include and are not limited to canvassing, revenue, new business, retention, settling disputes, measured on a monthly basis.
- Comply with the pricing guidelines and the business approval pricing matrix.
- Attend and participate in all sales meetings and training programs.
- Action sales leads within the same working day or within reason
- Comply with onsite safety rules when engaging with prospects or customers.
- Attend and complete all safety training where applicable.
- Execute site evaluation forms for all site agreements.
- Engage with the customer, if required, to resolve a safety, commercial or account issue
- Establish robust internal relationship with accounts, business support, and the commercial allocations team.
- All activities registered in the CRM system.
- Inform the sales management team on all activity and results.
- Monitor and report on market competition.
- Being foreword thinking and suggest changes to products and services,
- Provide historical records by maintaining data on area and customer sales,
- Effectively manage customer complaints and develop solutions to resolve issues,
- When required, prepare proposals, quotations and tenders for existing and potential clients.
- Any other duty as reasonably directed.
- Carry out all duties in line with Bingo's policies, procedures and processes.
- Ensure all prospects details, quotes, service agreements, site evaluations, amendments to agreements and cancellations are registered through the CRM system.
What makes you a GOgetter:
- Minimum 3 + years' work experience in high volume B2B sales
- Demonstrated track record within a sales or business development position, managing sales and achieving or exceeding sales targets
- An understanding of the commercial and industrial waste/recycling industry
- Currently active in door-to-door sales, that is not directed at key account management.
- A proven ability grow business organically through canvassing.
- Proven record in root cause analysis to close off customer issues.
- Proven experience with accurate planning and forecasting
- Previous experience in other waste management sectors
- A valid driving license and a vehicle
