What You'll Be Doing

• Propagating plants by seed and cuttings
• Seed collecting
• Potting on and activities related to plant maintenance.
• Pruning, mulching, planting, fertilizing
• Manual and chemical weed control
• Operating horticultural equipment
• Attending toolbox safety meetings
• Maintaining work quality to City standards
• Participating in supervised training activities
• Updating your training journal regularly

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a motivated trainee with a passion for horticulture. You'll ideally bring:

• Interest in horticulture and outdoor work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and safety-aware
• Minimum school leaving age
• National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Current C Class Driver's Licence (desirable)
