About the role

Working in Lilydale, VIC, this role will see the successful candidate working Fulltime, Monday to Friday roster whilst completing a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens. 

What you will be doing

  • General maintaining of parks and Sports fields
  • Mowing Lawns
  • Trimming Hedges
  • Pruning Trees and Shrubs
  • Planting new trees
  • Mulching Gardens
  • Watering and weeding
  • Using hand tools and power equipment such as lawn mowers, whipper snippers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows
  • Assisting with landscaping projects that may include planting new garden beds or laying turf

  • Must enjoy working outdoors

  • Motivation to learn about horticulture and from experienced team members
  • Ability to take direction and take on feedback
  • Show initiative, reliability, and a genuine interest in horticulture and community service
  • Current Driver license and reliable transportation
  • Working With Children's Check
  • Successfully pass a Police Check
