Toolijooa Nursery specialises in the production of native tube stock plants.  We have an exciting opportunity for a delivery driver/handyperson to join our native plant nursery in West Hoxton, NSW, 2171.

This role will deliver plants to some of the most beautiful areas of Sydney, South of Sydney, Hunter Region and beyond. When not undertaking deliveries, you will be working in the nursery.

Duties include:

·       Assisting the Dispatch department with picking orders

·       Assisting the Dispatch Lead with loading the truck, ute or van

·       Making deliveries in the truck, Ute and van to various sites within Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter

·       Dropping off vehicles for servicing and other fleet coordination needs

·       Undertaking other nursery tasks when deliveries are quiet, such as infrastructure maintenance in the nursery, ground maintenance eg lawn mowing, brush cutting and pole sawing, tip runs to remove rubbish on site, irrigation maintenance and stock movement.

·       Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on nursery equipment to ensure it is kept in good condition.

The Nursery Award 2020 is fully implemented at Toolijooa Nursery.

To be considered for this role you will ideally meet the following criteria:

·       Full driver's license and ability to drive manual or willingness to learn to drive manual.

·       Willing to be put through a LR license at Toolijooa's expense

·       Up to 5 day a week availability. Flexibility of availability hours is fine.

·       Experience working in a nursery

The Nursery Award 2020 is fully implemented at Toolijooa.
