About the role

Reporting to the Works Manager, this full-time Production Operator role is based at our manufacturing facility in Unanderra, NSW. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating specialised machinery to manufacture high-quality industrial chain products for our diverse customer base.

What you'll be doing

  1. Set up and operate injection moulding machines to produce complex industrial chain components
  2. Perform precision tool setting and adjustments to ensure machinery is operating at optimal efficiency
  3. Monitor production processes and quality control measures to identify and resolve any issues
  4. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
  5. Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements
  6. Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  7. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a production operator in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the chain, polymer or metal fabrication industries
  2. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery and equipment
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong teamwork and communication skills
  6. Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  7. Relevant trade qualification or certification is highly desirable
