We are seeking a strategic and inspiring Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team and play a pivotal role in leading our financial strategy, governance, and performance.
The Opportunity
Reporting To The CEO, The CFO Will
Provide high-level financial leadership, advice, and governance to support SCECS' growth and long-term sustainability.
Lead the Finance team across payroll, procurement, accounting, and reporting, fostering a culture of excellence and service.
Partner with the Executive, Board Committees, and senior leaders to deliver financial insights that inform capital programs, new business opportunities, and strategic decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and business partnering across the organisation.
Ensure compliance, effective risk management, and robust audit practices while building trusted relationships with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders.

About You
You are an accomplished finance leader who combines technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence at Executive and Board levels. You are as comfortable developing strategy as you are driving operational excellence.
You Will Bring
CA/CPA qualifications with tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.
Proven success at Executive level in financial leadership, governance, and strategy.
Expertise in risk management, financial compliance, and complex reporting.
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop high performing teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with non-finance leaders.
A commitment to the traditions and teachings of the Catholic faith.
Experience in education, early childhood, or complex service delivery environments will be highly regarded.
