Maroochy RSL is seeking experienced Events Attendants who have vibrant, accommodating personalities that will engage with our guests to ensure a memorable visit. Personal presentation and creating a professional impression as an ambassador for the venue at all times will be of utmost importance.

We offer a sophisticated professional service to our community and business clients.

The applicants we are seeking will:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a conference and banqueting role
  • Have a positive can do attitude and a genuine passion for service excellence
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be a positive self starter
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in a fast paced high pressure environment
  • Strong food & beverage service background
  • Maintain consistently high standards of conduct of work and work performance across all aspects of the job
  • Show initiative and willingness to learn
  • Be reliable with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Be team focused
  • Bar experience
  • 3 Plate Carry
  • Conference and Banqueting set ups
  • Be flexible to work a variety of shifts and different days including weekends
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment
