About The Centre:

We are a non-for-profit community-based Preschool in Chatswood dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners. We have a longstanding team and have been providing quality early childhood education and care to families in Sydney's Lower North Shore for over 40 years.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our Preschool Room (3-5 years old). You will work collaboratively within a highly experienced team sharing all documentation and ensuring a seamless educational experience for our 39 children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging learning activities tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Document children's progress and share insights with families and the team.
  • Foster relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
  • Current ECT registration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
