About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our team. The Company Accountant in our company will play an indispensable role to maintain the financial health of our business. All accounting matters of our companies are primarily managed by the company accountant, who is responsible for analyzing and auditing financial information, preparing and reviewing financial reporting, and providing advice to management.

Key Responsibilities

· Managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly compliance reporting processes (i.e. Business Activity Statements, Financial Reports, and Tax Returns)

· Preparing financial analysis spreadsheets and reports for presentation to the management

· Preparing forecasts on revenue and expenditure and recommending appropriate budget levels

· Compiling and analyzing financial data and preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries

· Examining incomes and operational expenditures against budget to determine the company's financial performance

· Auditing financial information to ensure accuracy and resolving account discrepancies where requiredPredicting revenue and expenditure trends, recommending appropriate budget levels, and implementing expenditure controls

· Interpreting financial results and providing advice to the management on business plans, operations, and taxation

· Establishing and maintaining financial databases and accounting systems

· Developing and implementing policies and procedures to minimize errors and enhance internal risk controls

· Providing training on procedures to be followed by other functional areas in order to support the finance function

Desirable Qualification and Knowledge Area

· Bachelor or above in Accounting

· Excellent communication skills

· Proficiency in accounting systems

· Bilingual in both English and Mandarin

· Deep understanding of accounting system in China

· Up-to-date knowledge about Australian taxation law and financial reporting requirements

· Good understanding of business operations and accounting activities

· Attention to details.

· Good time management skills

· Systematic and critical thinking skills

· Proven leadership skills

Desirable Work Experience

· At least 3 years' experience as an accountant
