Monday–Friday 2AM - 10:30AM with weekends Off

About Us:

Cater Care Manufacturing, part of Cater Care (a 100% Australian-owned contract catering service provider), operates across Aged Care, Education, Retirement, Retail, and Remote Services. We are seeking an experienced food production assistant to join our team at our Arndell Park facility during an exciting period of growth.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a reliable and team-oriented food production assistant with a passion for food and strong attention to detail. This hands-on role involves working across various food production areas including cooking, baking, salads, and sandwiches. You will also assist with packing orders and occasional deliveries.

The role would suit someone who enjoys having the flexibility of afternoons and evenings to themselves, whilst remaining in a full time role, who relishes the challenge of additional responsibilities, is resilient and adapts to change and is keen to further develop themselves in a company that truly supports career progression.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and bake large batches of quality food
  • Assemble, pack, and label meals for dispatch
  • Assist with order picking and packing
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Complete deliveries when required using the company van

Who you are:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
  • Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Great communications skills with strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
  • Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
  • Physically fit and capable of some heavy lifting
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
