Collection Managers
with the following skills

Role Overview

As a Collections Manager, you will work with our debt recovery operations team delivering services to a financial institution. With your Mercantile III certification, you will work to ensure processes and procedures are in place to manage legal recovery processes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation across Australian jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities


• Work with
debt recovery

operations teams to ensure
policies, procedures, and work instructions

are in place and adhered to.


•
Develop and implement debt recovery strategies aligned with legal frameworks


• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate appropriate recovery actions


• Ensure compliance with the
Commercial Agents

and
Private Inquiry Agents Act 2004 (NSW)

and other state-specific regulations


• Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for audits and reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications


•
FNS30420 Certificate III in Mercantile Agents

, including competencies in:

o Debt collection and legal recovery

o Locating individuals and serving legal process

o Managing individuals experiencing hardship


• Strong leadership and team management skills


• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities


• Familiarity with credit laws and financial regulations in Australia
