Faircloth & Reynolds has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Sheet Metal Tradesperson to join our dynamic team based in Tamworth, with work spanning both our manufacturing workshop and on-site installations.

About You:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sheet Metal Tradesperson to fabricate and install a range of sheet metal products and air conditioning duct.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following;

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Able to read and interpret ductwork from construction drawings
  • Possess excellent communication skills & a can do attitude
  • Organised with great time management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

The following qualifications and licences are required to be considered for the position:

  • Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (essential)
  • Current manual drivers licence (essential)
  • WHS Induction card (essential)

About the Position:

This position involves:

  • Fabricating sheet metal products in our Tamworth workshop
  • Installation of ductwork and associated sheet metal products on commercial construction sites
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications
  • Operating hand and power tools, as well as metalworking machinery
  • Ensuring high-quality standards and safe work practices are upheld both in the workshop and on site
