Sheet Metal Worker

Overview

- Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW

- Project Dates: Staggered start dates from early October, running approximately until late-November

- Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts

- Competitive Rate: EBA rates $54.80 (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Project Uplift

- Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers major Bayswater outage. LAFHA or Accommodation + Meal Allowance provided to distant workers

The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Sheet Metal Worker`s to deliver outage services for the Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW. Commencing late-September 2025, Downer will be providing mechanical and project services throughout the outage supporting with pressure piping replacements; ducting patch repair works and damper installations.

About You

- Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector

- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills

- Workplace Safety: Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues

- Qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal), Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 3 years) Construction white card, Rights to work in Australia.
