Aspen Karratha Village is located in the resource rich Pilbara region, conveniently located between Karratha Town Centre and Karratha Airport. The property provides high quality workforce accommodation with a reputation for being the best workforce accommodation in the area and offers modern motel style accommodation, a restaurant, pool and gym.
The Role:
As a Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and the whole kitchen team to prepare exceptional food for our guests at this busy property. Suitable applicants should possess the following:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in cookery.
- The ability to prepare, serve and cook a buffet style menu without supervision
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Take direction from Head Chef & Sous Chef with orders, menus and stocktake.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of OH&S and HACCP.
- Hotel/resort experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work a rotational roster encompassing various service periods over 7-day week.
