About the role
Charlesworth Bay Beach Resort is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As a casual member of our Front Office and Guest Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently
- Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Providing information about the resort's amenities, facilities and local attractions
- Assisting with luggage handling and transportation arrangements as needed
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and front desk area
- Handling financial transactions and cash management accurately
- Providing excellent customer service to ensure guests have a positive and memorable stay
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle guest requests and concerns
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
- A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
