Demand on our services has created an opportunity for a Functions & Catering Coordinator to join the Brisbane Corporate Services team. This role will provide consistent and high level customer service and efficient and high quality catering services to all Norton Rose Fulbright Australia Partners and employees. The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Providing barista and refreshment services to all client meeting rooms as requested
  • Overseeing our in-house kitchen and managing all catering and coffee service for the Brisbane office
  • Managing menu design and planning for events in conjunction with the events team
  • Establishing a strong external supplier network and managing this process end to end including invoicing
  • Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
  • Refining, supporting and improving the operations processes in the kitchen
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen areas including employee refreshment areas

Requirements

  • Previous corporate catering experience or similar back of house administrative role
  • Demonstrated food preparation and presentation experience
  • Barista Experience
  • Experience in catering for events
  • Hospitality or catering qualification is preferred but not essential
  • A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Sound knowledge of legislation governing food preparation, hygiene and alcohol consumption
