People and Culture Coordinator

YMCA Queensland is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator on a Full-Time, Permanent basis who is creative, fun and proactive to join our People and Culture team based at head office in Fortitude Valley.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will have a dynamic role supporting the P&C team to undertake a wide range of responsibilities along with some exciting project work.

Reporting to one of our People Business Partners, our team is renowned for its high-performance standards and unwavering support for one another. You day will be busy with the below and so much more:

• Take ownership of administrative tasks supporting the P&C team
• Manage the HR inbox
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of P&C documentation, such as job descriptions, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate people data across the HRIS including employee files
• Support the talent team with recruitment processes including letter and contract generation
• Provide amazing best practice advice for Tier 1 & 2 enquiries
• Manage all HR reporting including compliance reporting for qualifications
• Assist the business partners with case management

ABOUT YOU

You are an adaptable team player who possesses a unique blend of strategic thinking, empathy and creativity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role and tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field would be a bonus
• A passion for delivering a high level of service to all stakeholders, with a customer-focused, can-do attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit varying audiences.
• A detailed-orientated approach, showing great care and attention within all aspects of work.
• Demonstrated creativity and drive in contributing to people-focused projects, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
• Experience working with HRIS and preferably Success Factors.
