We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team on an initial contract / fixed term contract to assist our customer with data profiling, quality assessments and metrics development to quantify benefits and validate assumptions to form part of a business case.

Expected Duties

  • Build and optimize data pipelines using tools like Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and SQL
  • Perform data profiling and quality assessments
  • Extract data from different sources
  • Integrate data into analytical workflows
  • Validate data lineage and metadata
  • Perform data masking, classification or compliance automation
  • Develop Power BI and Tableau dashboards to track the quality of data, data governance and risk controls

Key Selection Criteria

  • Masters or Bachelor in Data Science is highly desirable
  • 5+ years of commercial experience performing a similar role and function
  • Demonstrated hands on experience with Data Analysis, Data Engineering or Data Management
  • Power BI, Tableau
  • SQL
  • Excel
  • Azure Databricks
  • Amazon Redshift
  • AWS/Azure cloud platforms
  • Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, data profiling, and quality frameworks
  • Comfortable with data governance, metadata management, and risk controls
