About the Role
AFF is seeking hardworking and dependable casual Farm Hands to join our operations at Bengerang Farm, located in Garah, NSW. This hands-on role will have a particular focus on irrigation support, as well as general farm duties to keep operations running smoothly. You'll work as part of a close-knit team, following instructions to ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Assisting with general fieldwork such as planting, spraying and harvest prep.
- Operating farm machinery and equipment.
- Reporting hazards and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Being a team player and helping the team meet daily and seasonal goals.
About you
You're a practical and dependable individual who takes pride in contributing to a team environment. With a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset, you're adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of performing physical tasks in outdoor conditions. While previous experience in irrigation or general farming is advantageous, a positive attitude and willingness to contribute are equally valued.
