Roof-plumbing Apprenticeship

Are you looking to kick-start a rewarding career in the construction industry? Do you have a passion for working outdoors and a keen interest in plumbing and roofing systems? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Roof Plumbing Apprentice

1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th year Apprentices are encouraged to apply

**With the support of qualified trades people, you can expect to**:

- Work alongside experienced roof plumbers to assist in the installation of roofing materials
- Assist in the installation of gutters and downpipes to ensure proper drainage and water flow from the roof
- Assist with maintenance tasks, such as cleaning gutters, inspecting roofs for damage, and identifying areas that require repair
- Learn how to identify and locate roof leaks, and assist in the repair process.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations
- Assist with the handling and transportation of materials, tools, and equipment required for roofing projects
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean and organised and properly storing materials
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer

**To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have**:

- An interest and commitment to work in Construction
- A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP
- A current manual driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Work experience within the construction industry is highly desirable
- Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail
- Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously

Please note, to be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends
