Data Strategy

This role sits within our Finance team and will report into the Chief Financial Officer. As the Data Strategy & Insights Analyst, you will lead the transformation of complex data into clear, actionable insights. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes, uncover opportunities, and drive high-impact, data-informed decision-making across the organisation.

The ideal candidates will have strong analytical thinking skills, communication skills, and a proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. They should possess advanced data analysis capabilities, leveraging a variety of modern analytical and data visualisation tools to deliver accurate and actionable insights. They should also be able to sponsor and implement change across business processes, functions and team dynamics to push positive business outcomes for Padua especially as they relate to data, data analytics and business insights that support decision making at all levels.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to generate actionable business insights.
• Develop and implement data strategies that support organizational goals and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize business performance.
• Design and deliver compelling reports, dashboards and visualisations that clearly communicate key findings to stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to influence business initiatives and priorities.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
• Ensuring alignment between Financial Reporting of the Finance Team (TM1-driven) which is the audited source of truth, and any other Operational Reporting produced within the business.

• Data Governance Awareness: Understanding of data quality, privacy, and governance principles to ensure data integrity and compliance. Aligning with Pauda's ISO-compliant environment as determined by the Padua Technology team.

• Strong computer skills, and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills
• Have some experience with OLAP tools like MS Power BI and a willingness to continue learning and expanding their skills, knowledge and abilities in this area especially in relation to Padua's TM1-IBM-Cognos OLAP environment
• Some experience in utilising AI tools and expanding on this both in terms of personal skillset and application within the day-to-day job at Padua.
