About the role
This part-time 8-10hrs per week Bookkeeper role with Colour Collections' in Frankston, VIC presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to play a key part in the smooth running of the business. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparation of tax requirements. You will also be required to provide Personal Assistant duties for the Directors.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and weekly payroll
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Monitoring cash flow and providing recommendations to improve financial performance
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Providing administrative support when required
What we're looking for
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting software Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently
