About the role

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a driven individual who thrives on working autonomously, delivering results and continually seeking out new business opportunities. You will be responsible for growing our retail, wholesale and independent customer base within the NSW and ACT territories, while representing one of Australia's most loved luxury fragrance brands.

Palm Beach Collection is Australia's luxury home fragrance brand, renowned for our hand-poured scented candles, fragrance diffusers and premium lifestyle products. Established in 2009, we are a family-owned and run Australian business, passionate about creating beautiful fragrances inspired by Australia's coastal landscape.

Duties & key responsibilities

  • Service and manage an existing customer base, ensuring strong relationships are maintained.
  • Provide a key point of contact and build strong relationships with independent and key account customers.
  • Proactively seek out and convert new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all scheduled call cycle visits are met.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand into new sales channels.
  • Deliver on quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Act as a true brand ambassador for Palm Beach Collection in the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain in-store presence while maximising sales through execution of visual merchandising.
  • Support retailers with VM and training initiatives to elevate the brand.
  • Travel to regional customers within your territory to ensure consistent service levels are met.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams across marketing, operations and customer service.

Required skills & experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry-related business development or sales experience, ideally in homewares, lifestyle, beauty or FMCG.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Results-focused and goal-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence.
