About the role

Mesh & Bar is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our team in our Pakenham, VIC location. This full-time role will be responsible for providing outstanding customer support and ensuring customer satisfaction across all interactions. NOTE: This role is for a 1 year contract, replacing an existing role who will be taking maternity leave. This is a relatively new, growing branch, which MAY have opportunities beyond the year. This will have to be considered in real time close to completion of the contracted year.

What you'll be doing

  1. Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  2. Maintaining records of customer interactions and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
  3. Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and making recommendations to management
  4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience
  5. Providing product information and guidance to customers
  6. Handling order processing, returns, and other administrative tasks

  1. Demonstrated experience in a customer service or client-facing role (optional, not required)
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
  4. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  5. A positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
