Assist in the operation of the Road Construction and Maintenance teams by safely and efficiently utilising Council plant/equipment to achieve specified standards.

Operation of plant such as a loader, roller, grader, and truck in a safe and efficient manner to achieve specified standards.

Operation of other plant and equipment as requested by team Works Supervisor or Manager Works & Services.

Operation of plant and equipment within skill base and occupational safety and health requirements.

Perform other duties such as general labouring work as requested by team Works Supervisor, or Manager Works & Services.

Reinstatement of the worksite.

Perform all tasks and duties in safely and efficiently and carries out work in a harmonious manner with due respect for team members and other works personnel.

Assist with the introduction and implementation of best practice work activities and continuous improvement in the team.

Conduct routine and scheduled checking and minor maintenance of plant as required on a daily basis.
