Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day management of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local produce.
• Ensure all food safety and health regulations are followed in accordance with industry standards.
• Lead by example and assist with food prep, cooking, plating, and service during peak hours.
• Maintain inventory control and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Support in managing kitchen staff schedules and training new team members.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passion for food with an eye for detail and a commitment to culinary excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• A positive attitude and strong team player with a hands-on approach to kitchen management.
