About the Role:

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Advancement team in the role of Advancement Coordinator. This is a chance to grow your career and make a meaningful, tangible impact.

The Advancement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing the College's mission by growing philanthropic support and helping to create the systemic changes that build more opportunities for the students – the BBC gentlemen of honour.

You will support the BBC Foundation and the wider College community.

About You:

  • Experience: You have worked in fundraising, advancement, or business development, preferably within education or nonprofit sectors.
  • Passion: You want to make meaningful impact and are passionate about the fundraising sector.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dedicated individual to enhance donor relationships through exceptional customer service, by supporting the Advancement Manager with tasks including but not limited to:

  • Gift Processing, Receipting and Acknowledgement
  • Independent Prospect Research and Database Administration
  • Support Community-Giving programs (including Giving Days)
  • Data Analysis and Report preparation using systems inc. TASS, Funnel, and Graduway
  • Support and implementation of the Donor Stewardship program including maintaining the Stewardship Register, researching and building donor profiles, and coordinating correspondence.
  • Manage the end-to-end Fundraising Process from identification and cultivation through to solicitation and stewardship.
  • Match Donor Interests to BBC's priorities and help develop high-quality, persuasive proposals and cases for support
  • Planning, Management and Implementation of all advancement-related Events

Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of philanthropic giving principles
  • Hands-on experience working within CRM platforms/systems, maintaining donor databases
  • Relevant academic qualification
  • Experience in planning, management and implementation of development- related events
  • Excellent database management experience and understanding. Hands on experience working within CRM platforms/systems, maintaining donor databases
  • Demonstrated high level of computer literacy including a sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to the vision and values of BBC
  • Familiarity with or experience in architecture / interior design / urban planning is desirable
  • Solid understanding of brand beyond application of visual identity guidelines is desirable

  • Comply with College policies, procedures and training requirements, including those related to occupational health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
  • Positively support the College's traditions and Christian ethos.
  • Hold a current blue card for working with children
