Start Date: 2nd Week of October

Project Overview / Scope of Work (SOW):

We are seeking experienced Network Engineers to support the installation and cabling of Aruba Access Points (APs) at an IKEA site in Sydney. The project involves mounting and configuring APs, running and terminating network cabling, and ensuring proper labeling and testing for a clean and professional installation.

The work will commence once the Aruba AP brackets are delivered on-site. A team of 6 engineers will be deployed during the installation phase to complete the project efficiently and within the set timeline.

Scope of Work:

  • AP Mounting – Securely install Aruba Access Points at designated locations.
  • Bracket Mounting – Fix mounting brackets in alignment with design plans.
  • Cable Patching – Connect and patch network cables to switches and APs.
  • Cable Termination – Properly terminate cables with RJ45 connectors and punch-downs.
  • Labeling & Testing – Accurately label all cables and verify functionality using appropriate tools.

Required Tools & Equipment:

Engineers must bring the following tools for the project:

  • Laptop (with Microsoft Teams, AnyDesk, and PuTTY installed)
  • Console cable (RJ45 to USB)
  • Screwdriver set
  • Mobile phone with internet hotspot
  • Crimping tool
  • Cable tester
  • Fishing rod
  • Cable puller
  • Punch down tool
  • Drill machine
  • Labeling printer

Team Requirement:

  • 6 qualified Network Engineers needed for the installation phase.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Are you available for 1 month to support this project starting from the 2nd week of October?

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $220.00 – $300.00 per day
