We are a unique , not-for-profit, community-based centre near the beach located next to South Coogee Public School, and we enjoy a large natural outdoor setting.

The centre is highly regarded in the local area, we take pride in working closely with our families and the community and are supported by a dedicated parent committee.

About The Role

We are seeking a qualified diploma educator for our 60-place community-based, not-for-profit long day care centre.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience within an early childhood setting.
  • A recognised diploma-level qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound programming and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Certificate in First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
  • A philosophical perspective shaped by Reggio Emilia will be viewed positively as would knowledge and understanding of Indigenous perspectives.
  • A positive attitude, a good work ethic and open to professional growth.
  • Understanding of the Child Safe Standards and how they are applied in a service
