Position Overview

The Membership & Ticket Sales Coordinator plays a key role in driving revenue growth, fan engagement, and member satisfaction for Sydney FC. Reporting to the Membership, Ticketing & Merchandise Manager, this position has a strong focus on 
sales
 — securing new members, supporting renewals, and maximising ticket sales through outbound calls, emails, and tailored engagement.

Alongside sales, the role supports the smooth running of membership experiences — including the 
Mber+ store, Member Days, Open Training Sessions, and Member Forums
 — ensuring members feel valued, engaged, and part of the Sky Blue family. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the broader commercial and marketing teams as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Acquisition

  • Actively drive 
    new membership sales
     through outbound calls, emails, and in-person engagement.
  • Support membership renewal campaigns, assisting with upgrades and retention.
  • Contribute to achieving membership and ticketing revenue targets.
  • Proactively identify and pursue leads for group ticket sales and fan offers.

Servicing & Engagement

  • Manage the 
    Mber+ store
    , ensuring products, benefits, and redemptions run smoothly.
  • Support and deliver 
    member events
     including Member Days, Open Training Sessions, and Member Forums.
  • Handle member enquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, delivering a 
    high level of customer service
    .
  • Contribute to fan engagement initiatives that ensure members feel valued, connected, and part of the Sky Blue family.

Ticketing Support

  • Assist with match day ticketing operations including group bookings and fan promotions.
  • Provide support with ticketing system processes and reporting.
  • Help deliver seamless ticketing experiences for A-League Men's, Women's, and Academy matches.

Campaign & Administration Support

  • Assist in the delivery of membership and ticketing campaigns, including communications and database management.
  • Support reporting processes by providing sales updates and tracking progress against KPIs.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure aligned messaging and fan-first experiences.
  • Provide 
    administrative support to the Commercial and Marketing teams
     as required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in sport, entertainment, or customer service.
  • Confident communicator with strong phone, email, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and event coordination experience.
  • Customer-first mindset — passionate about ensuring members are happy, valued, and engaged.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM and ticketing systems (desirable, but training provided).
  • A passion for football and sport, with the drive to contribute to Sydney FC's success.
