Total Claims Solutions provides a unique hands-on approach to managing work injury claims nationally. The company focuses on the immediate needs of injured or ill workers and supports employers to provide effective injury and illness claims management.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Injury Management Coordinator (IMC) located in Brisbane, QLD. The IMC will be responsible for managing work and non work injuries, providing support to injured workers, and assisting employers with effective claims management.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Background in workers' compensation (QLD), claims management, ideally from a Workcover Agent/Insurer.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of supporting people with injuries, treatment options, and an empathetic approach.
  • Strategic Insight: Proven ability to handle complex RTW cases, spotting challenges early and initiating effective strategies.
  • Legislative Know-How: Extensive knowledge of local workers' compensation laws; familiarity with other state and territory schemes is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong abilities in leadership, communication, and relationship-building.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional skills in building long-lasting relationships and delivering outstanding service.
  • Conflict Resolution: Negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidence in interacting with a wide range of parties.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to juggle competing priorities and the initiative to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Presentation skills: Ability to engage and present to new business opportunities
