We're seeking an experienced 
Solution Architect
 to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure within the Warfighting Networks environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and document 
    end-to-end infrastructure and platform solutions
     across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Drive 
    infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines
    .
  • Support and enhance 
    container orchestration platforms
     (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
  • Provide expert architectural guidance on 
    hybrid services, external integrations, and identity management
    .
  • Assist with 
    builds, defect remediation, and Level 3 escalations
    .
  • Develop 
    SOPs, build guides, and training
     for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure the sustainment and enhancement of Minerva ICT systems.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience designing and deploying 
    hybrid cloud infrastructure
     and distributed systems.
  • Expertise in 
    AWS, Azure, or GCP
    , with deep knowledge of 
    IaC and automation tooling
    .
  • Strong background in 
    containerisation and orchestration
     (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
  • Hands-on expertise with 
    networking, VDI platforms, and endpoint security
    .
  • Advanced knowledge of 
    routing, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing (SR-MPLS / SRv6), SDN solutions
    , and hybrid connectivity.
  • Familiarity with 
    identity management
     (LDAP, AD, SSO) and applying 
    industry frameworks
     (TOGAF, test & evaluation standards).
  • Excellent 
    communication and stakeholder engagement skills
     – able to influence, present, and collaborate effectively.
