In this role you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Develop a forward internal Audit Plan/Schedule
  • Procure and contract manage a suitably qualified internal audit company to conduct internal audits
  • Facilitate and coordinate internal audits by identifying stakeholders, developing scope, scheduling meetings, gathering evidence and reviewing reports
  • Analyse audit reports and their trends to provide advice towards the continuous improvement of systems, procedures and the internal control environment
  • Ensure the Internal Audit Charter and Internal Audit plans are complied with
  • Prepare and draft reports for consideration by the Audit, Risk and Governance Committee

Our preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and skillset:

  • Well-developed written communication and report writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating an internal audit or related compliance function
  • Demonstrated high level analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
