At Kin Early Learning Centre, we're seeking a highly experienced Lead Educator to join our established, values-driven team in Queanbeyan, where relationships, reflection, and quality practice sit at the heart of everything we do.

About the role

As a Lead Educator, you'll take ownership of your learning space, guiding educators with confidence and nurturing meaningful learning experiences for children and families. You will:

·       Lead your room team with professionalism, empathy, and clarity.

·       Design and deliver exceptional curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, EYLF, and National Quality Standards (NQS).

·       Model exemplary practice in documentation, planning, and reflective pedagogy.

·       Mentor and support emerging educators to grow their capability and confidence.

·       Build trusted partnerships with families, ensuring every child feels known, safe, and valued.

About you

·       Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

·       Minimum 3+ years' experience leading in a high-quality early learning environment.

·       Deep knowledge of child development, curriculum, and quality improvement.

·       Strong leadership and mentoring skills — able to inspire, guide, and collaborate.

·       Passionate about creating a culture of belonging, curiosity, and professionalism.
