Analyst Assurance

Brief Description
The role
As an Assurance Analyst, you will play a vital role within our Group Risk Operational & Assurance team at Auto & General, you'll deliver independent assurance over the Group's risk management framework and control environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Assurance, you will assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, conduct control testing, support compliance monitoring, participate and lead assurance review plus deliver high-quality reports to senior leaders. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, including Line 1 and Line 3 risk functions, and play a critical role in enhancing operational risk awareness. Your insights and recommendations will help shape a stronger, safer, and more compliant future.

You Will Be Responsible For 2LOD

• Assurance and Control Testing
• Assurance Review including Compliance Reviews
• Assurance & Control Testing Reporting

What Experience You'll Bring

• At least 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry (or another highly regulated environment).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in control testing, assurance, audit, or risk role.
• Experience with risk management (GRC) systems experience
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and attention to detail skills.

Location – Toowong
