Perth, Western Australia Defend Fire Protection Pty Ltd Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

We are a small Fire Services company looking for a hardworking and dedicated trades assistant. You will be working in a team to complete the installation of Fire Sprinkler System to new and existing buildings throughout the Perth CBD and surrounding suburbs.

If you are a driven individual who is a hard worker and wants to begin a career in the Wet Fire Industry we have a promising opportunity available. No previous wet fire experience required however commercial construction experience, initiative to learn and desire for promotion is favorable.

You must be:

  • Ready to work, 6.30am start, 5 days a week minimum
  • Eligible to work in Australia (No Working Holiday Visa's or Sponsorships)
  • Reliable transportation to work (Car is not a necessity, however it is highly favorable)

Tasks will vary and range based on competency:

  • Manual labour including heavy lifting
  • Fabricating pipework and fittings
  • Install of pipe work, building value sets
  • Accurate measuring and cutting of pipework
  • Operating machinery and power tools
  • Reading of shop drawings
  • Painting
  • Setting up, cleaning and packing away equipment
  • Working off ladders and scaffold
