Sonder Bar is a vibrant, buzzing venue in the heart of Bentleigh, known for great food, wine, cocktails, and warm hospitality. With the busy summer season just around the corner, we're on the lookout for experienced Front of House staff to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role

As part of our FOH team, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent guest experiences every shift. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and seating guests with a friendly, professional manner.
  • Running plates, clearing tables, and managing sections efficiently.
  • Taking orders and confidently explaining menu items.
  • Upselling food and beverage options to enhance the experience.
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of our drinks list, including wine and cocktails.
  • Ensuring the venue is clean, well-presented, and welcoming at all times.
  • Working closely with the team to deliver smooth, efficient service.
