We're looking to add another trailer mechanic to our existing team of mechanics. Demand for caravan servicing is high and as the Snowy River Caravans dealership in North Queensland, we're servicing a growing rotation of our own customers as they come back for services every 10,000kms.

Duties:

  • Mechanical servicing on caravans
  • Fault find and repair suspension
  • Anti-sway system installation and fault finding
  • Servicing and repair of suspension systems & brake wiring
  • Test and repair basic electrical circuits
  • Bearings, brakes, hubs
  • Full axle and suspension replacements
  • Accurately complete all paperwork associated with repair & maintenance
  • Take photographs throughout the servicing process
  • Maintain tools and equipment in the workplace
  • Installation of weight distribution systems and specialty hitches for safer towing

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications
  • Welding experience desired
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to work, problem-solve & fault-find autonomously, as well as within a small team
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Respectful conduct in the workplace
  • Reliable punctuality
