• Salary $82, $97,373.54 per annum (dependent on skills and ability)

Contracting Facilitator – Moranbah

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Contracting Facilitator to join our Contracts and Procurement team. Reporting to the Manager Contracts & Procurement, this position is responsible for facilitating and managing Isaac Regional Council procurement processes and contracts across Council.

To be successful in this position, you will:

• Bring a solid understanding of procurement and contract management best practices, ideally within a public sector environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with confidence.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve positive procurement outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal skills to influence and inform.
• Show initiative and sound judgment to resolve issues and make decisions independently when required.
• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to navigate complex procurement challenges.
• Be tech-savvy, with experience using electronic document management systems, finance systems, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Uphold professionalism and deliver responsive, customer-focused support to internal and external clients.
• Understand contracts, tendering processes, and compliance requirements, including relevant legislation and policies.
• Ideally bring experience in Local Government procurement and contract management (highly regarded).

• Salary $82, $97,373.54 per annum (dependent on skills and ability)
