Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their development in a fun, engaging, and safe environment? We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Casual Out of School Hours (OOSH) Educator to join our friendly team at Berkeley Vale Public School P&C Association.

About the Role

As a Casual OOSH Educator, you will:

  • Support and contribute to educational and play-based programs for children aged 4–12
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Supervise children in a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
  • Follow service policies and procedures, including child safety and wellbeing
  • Work under the direction of the OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader

Your Availability

  • You must be available Monday and Tuesday afternoons
  • Additional shifts may be offered across other weekdays, including before school care and vacation care

What You Need

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Working With Children Check – Required
  • First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training – or willingness to obtain
  • A positive, professional, and child-focused attitude
  • Understanding of the My Time Our Place framework and National Quality Standards (desirable)
  • Willingness to work as part of a collaborative, supportive team
