What's the job?

You'll have variety in your day, preparing dishes for our restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and special events. Whether it's crafting a delicious buffet breakfast, delivering a standout à la carte dinner, or fuelling conference guests with working lunches, you'll take pride in every plate you serve.


Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing and producing high-quality dishes in line with standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Working closely with the Front of House team to deliver an outstanding guest experience
  • Adapting to different service styles – from breakfast buffets to bespoke dinners and event catering
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and accurate HACCP record keeping
  • Supporting your team in creating a positive, efficient, and professional kitchen environment

What we're looking for:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) plus Food Safety & Hygiene training
  • 6–12 months' experience in a commercial kitchen and a genuine passion for food
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control in every dish
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while staying calm and focused
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
