An exciting opportunity exists for an industrial electrician to join our team. We are seeking a highly driven & capable electrician with a positive outlook, who wants to succeed, learn new things & put their skills to good use in the automation game.

  • Fully qualified & licensed electrician in NSW.
  • Driver's License.
  • Good understanding of Australian Standards.
  • Versatile & Hands-on.

The following qualifications are not essential but will be favorable in the selection process:

  • Instrumentation

About the role:

The position of Industrial Electrician with QCS may entail some or all of the following roles & responsibilities: *This work would be undertaken with the full support of the existing team of electricians and engineers.

  • Site Installation of Industrial Automation Solutions.
  • Electrical Shift-Cover (Manufacturing Customers)
  • Electrical Drawing Mark-Ups
  • Installation Commissioning Support
  • Industrial Control Fault Finding
  • Apprentice Mentoring
  • Electrical Install Estimation
  • Panel design and Panel Building
  • Electrical Design Specification

At Quantum you will work hands-on with industrial control systems (PLC's, MCC's etc). You will regularly work with brands including Rockwell & Siemens. You will get on the job training and exposure to the programming side of the trade, if that interests you. The company is presently composed of a team of engineers (a number of which started out as industrial electricians, in roles very similar to this one).
