About the role

Scientific Drilling Controls Limited is seeking an experienced Cased Hole Field Engineer to join our team in Sale, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will involve providing on-site technical support and expertise for our clients across various field operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform technical field services for cased hole applications, including perforating, cased hole logging, and other associated services
  • Provide on-site operational support and troubleshooting to ensure the successful execution of field operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute field campaigns
  • Collect and analyse field data, generate reports, and provide recommendations to clients
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance field processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cased Hole Field Engineer or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with cased hole operations, including perforating, logging, and other related services
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Valid driver's licence and the willingness to work on-site at client locations as required
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred
