About The Role
Due to exciting growth, we've created a brand-new opportunity for a skilled
Audit & Compliance Officer
to help strengthen our quality assurance frameworks within the Permanency Support Program (PSP).

In this pivotal role, you'll lead and coordinate audits, ensure compliance with key regulations and standards, and provide critical insights to our Risk Committee. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding children and young people and improving service delivery across the program.

This position will be based in our West Gosford Hub. We support flexible working arrangements, and the successful incumbent will join us for a 12-month fixed term contract, working 5 days per week, or we can offer the role at 4 days per week for someone who is interested in flexible work options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate qualitative and quantitative audits.
  • Analyse data and generate reports and dashboards.
  • Develop and implement audit frameworks.
  • Support safeguarding and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams and contribute to continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline (desirable).
  • Proven experience in a similar role working in an audit/compliance function, ideally in NFP, community services or social welfare industry.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills along with strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles (preferred).
