We are a leading ICT Consulting firm based locally in Perth based who specialist in large WA State Government projects.
Due to a new long-term project with one of our key government clients, we are actively looking to engage an experienced Information Architect on a 2-year contract role. This project will focus on the overall enhancement of maturity within information management and information governance. The role of Information Architect will primarily be targeting improvements in information governance maturity across multiple domains. More specifically looking at integrating the strategic vision, technical proficiency, and leadership capabilities to guide the business through the evolving digital environment and contribute to long-term sustainable growth.
Key skills, background and responsibilities:
- 4 years+ Information Architecture experience
- Previous experience working within WA State Government would be highly desirable.
- Advanced Communication and Stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience aligning IT solutions with business objectives, leveraging emerging technologies for competitive advantage.
- Strategic Roadmap Development
- Strong knowledge of Information Architecture and Standards
- Defining Information Architecture: Create blueprints for data management, ensuring easy access, analysis, and utilization.
- Risk Management:
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement strategies to prevent Data Loss and unauthorized access and transfer of sensitive data.
- Managing Information Assets: Oversee the lifecycle of data, ensuring its accurate capture, secure storage, and availability for analysis.
- Data Catalogue: Manage a centralised repository of data assets, facilitating data discovery and reuse.
- Data Lineage: Track data origins, transformations, and usage to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Data Governance: Establish policies and standards for data management, ensuring regulatory compliance and data quality.
- Information Sharing: Establish frameworks and tools for secure and efficient information exchange.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and status report
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors
On offer:
- An initial 12 Month contract + a further 12 Month extension
- Standard 40-hour week with flexible working hours and friendly working environment.
- Hybrid role with WFH options available 2 to 3 days per week.
- Daily Rate of $1000 inclusive of super (negotiable)
- Free on-site parking
Please not this is Perth based role and ideally, we are looking for someone local to Perth or individuals willing to relocate to Perth. This is not a full remote role.
You MUST have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
