DMG are seeking a Lead Architect to manage an exciting Student Accomodation Tower project in Nedlands. Currently at 60% documentation, you will be responsible for finalising the Building permit package with an existing team, then carry through the onsite architectural management alongside the DMG Developments team and Builder.

Other projects in the office include Luxury Apartments, Commercial Offices , Hotel developments, and Bespoke Residential Houses. The selected candidate(s) have the opportunity to be involved from early concept design to managing the project delivery with the support of a fun and diverse team.

This position will ideally suit someone who is an experienced Registered Architect and has a proven track record of leading and managing successful project deliverables from concept design through to onsite services. Strong Revit documentation experience is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architecture Project Management

  • Day to day management of select project(s) and project team including consultants

  • Project delivery management – within timeframes and allocated budgets
  • Schematic design, design development, documentation and site administration
  • Managing and mentoring your project team
  • Liaise with statutory authorities
  • Overseeing and managing the construction documentation output
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Quality Assurance Management

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Registered Architect
  • 5+ years industry experience
  • Innovative design skills
  • Strong construction details knowledge
  • Contract Administration experience
  • Demonstrable leadership and team building skills
  • Advanced REVIT skills
  • Thorough knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and R-Codes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
