Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the acute team in the Targeted Acute Rehabilitation Program .

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

An opportunity for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist has become available to join our team at Northern Health, working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting that provides a high-level clinical service to a variety of acute inpatient cohorts via the Targeted Acute Rehabiliation Program.

This role provides rehabiliation and discharge planning to acute patients across all acute streams.

You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient centred care and support access and flow throughout the health service.

The role will work will work closely with the wider OT department to drive service development and ensuring a focus on innovations.

This position is primarily based at the Epping Campus.

• Demonstrated clinical experience within an inpatient setting
• Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisplinary team
• Highly develop interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoy a fast paced environment
• A commitment to lifelong learning.
